The Mask

Its so strange to see how many people dont believe in Jesus Christ. Although many people here believe in evil spirits. So they know that there is a holy and unly presence that is always among us. How awful it must be to believe in only evil spirits, or ghosts, and not have anything else but a charm or scroll to help you. There is still a war going on in the spritual realm. Being here and taking time to study the Word of God has opened my eyes to things I hadn't thought much of. The evidence is all around us. Alot of my students own charms and other things to "drive away evil spirits". The devil is hard at work. Sometimes I don't think much of it. When i spend time in the Word i see things more clearly. There are so many things that are keeping us from really knowing whats important in our lives. I have been here 5 months. Some days it seems like i just got here. Some days I feel like going home is just a dream, that i have been here all my life. I think this is how God wants us to see this world becuase this world is not our home. We are only visiting. Close friends, please pray for me and the other SMs. Also, remind me of this later when we talk one on one and I'll tell you and incident that happend today. In February, a group of us will be going to different parts of Babeldaob and hosting seminars for 4 consecutive weeks. Please keep us in your prayers and continue to ask for the Holy Spirit.
