Els Birthday
Actually, Els birthday party was last friday at KB bridge. but here b-day is today. here party was fun. i saw alot of students there. they love the water. which was cool since i wanted to swim. she was happy to see me and angela there. today was good. im just a bit tired. woke up at 5:30 am and went running. then ate my oat meal! lol. its good stuff. then taught, angela got a new student. teachers were sick today so some classes had to be substituted with other teachers. so that means no computers, Pe, music, and library! which means no free period. but its kewl. i understand that they need rest. im losing my voice now. so i was teaching my students p.e. and their was this weird palaun guy again. i found out that hes the chiefs son(the one that let us stay at his island for x-mas) and he was kicked out of his dads place. so now he has no job and walks around palau high all the time. its sad. but he got me upset. i found out hes the one that threw the soda can at mladen. and today he was on campus walking around with a machete! i had all my fourth graders running around outside and i see him on our campus looking at us like he's planning something with a machete in his hand. i sent my students inside the class and told another teacher about it. they noticed before i said anything. Nathan went and talked to him. Nathan talked to him before but he seems to get real shy when he's confronted. i think hes a bit messed up. maybe its the drugs. but its like he gets a pleasure from scaring people. he dropped his knife when nate went to talk to him. then he picked it up and left. i went back to class and had us pray for the guy. he's one of my students cousins. then the rain tank was empty so i had to walk all 17 of my students to my house to use the house to fill up their water bottles. i later made them dump the water out, it smelled weird. i heard that sometimes the sewar leaks into the water for peoples houses. so i boil my water now. hopefully it rains so the kids can start refilling their bottles again
